Accreditation

Standards you can verify.

Two accreditations stand behind the work. MCS certification is the recognised standard for small solar and battery installation, which most export tariffs and grants insist on, while TrustMark registration is a government-endorsed scheme for tradespeople working on homes. Both keep proving useful after the job: for a warranty claim, a change of supplier, or selling a house with panels on the roof.

HIES protection and EPVS validation add consumer safeguards and independent checking of performance assumptions where they apply. These credentials belong to the installation team and not to the Surrey Solar name, and company details are in our Privacy Policy.

How options are prepared

How the specification is put together.

Every set of options starts from the roof, the shade and the way the household uses power, then settles the panel choice, the layout and where each piece of equipment goes. Assumptions stay visible, so you can judge how far the projected benefit can be relied on, and where EPVS validation applies an outside party checks them.

Some questions may come first. The survey then examines the roof, shade and existing wiring on site.

How we work

From first request to a finished system.

01

Describe the property

Tell us about the roof and the household.

02

Review

We judge whether the property merits a survey.

03

Survey and options

An engineer visits, then your options arrive in writing.

04

Installation

Most fits take a day or two, ending with a walk-through.

What we do

Panels, storage and charging with a considered finish.

Everything can be specified as one system or added in stages. Each has its own page: solar panels, batteries and EV chargers. Surrey's housing spans interwar mock-Tudor detached homes, Victorian villas and newer executive houses, so each property is surveyed individually.

Warranties from the manufacturer, covering product and performance, come with each system, plus our workmanship cover on top. The options give the exact terms.

Ready when you are

Begin with the property

A few details about the roof are enough to start. We will say whether a system looks worthwhile and what it could look like.
